Rensselaer, Ind. – A three run seventh inning in game one allowed Missouri S&T to snap a three-game losing streak and pick up its first conference win with a 5-3 victory at Saint Joseph's College on Monday afternoon. The Pumas (6-13, 1-3 GLVC) took the nightcap 10-5 and were powered by four home runs in the contest.

Game 1 – Missouri S&T 5 Saint Joseph's 3

Klein advanced to second on the throw home and then went to third on a bunt single from Monica Weiss (St. Louis, Mo./Marquette ). Klein and Weiss then pulled off a double steal for an insurance run.

The Pumas put the tying runs on base in the bottom of the seventh but English got a double play on a fly ball to right to end the game.
