S&T nipped by Pumas 1-0

Rensselaer, Ind. – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners dropped a 1-0 decision at Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon in its final road game of the 2015 season. The Pumas (2-13-2, 2-11-1 GLVC) outshot the Lady Miners (1-13-2, 0-12-2) 15-2, 12-1 in the second half.


Saint Joseph's broke the scoreless tie in the 57th minute converting on a free kick as Haley Celebre headed it in off the service from Taylor Henry. S&T was able to get a couple of corner kicks in the 63rd and 81st minutes but were unable to convert on either attempt.

Carrie Levy (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge ) stopped four of the five shots she faced in goal. Sarah Hostler (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) had a shot on goal while Leah Camery (Anchorage, Alaska/Steller Secondary School) had a shot.

S&T hosts Drury on Wednesday evening in its season finale at 5 p.m.
