Rolla, Mo. – In a rematch of last season's Great Lakes Valley Conference championship contest the Missouri S&T Lady Miners and Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers played to a 1-1 draw at the S&T Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Rangers (5-7-2, 4-6-2 GLVC) broke the scoreless tie less than two minutes before halftime on a goal from Vianney Hernandez. Lexi Porter played a ball from the top of the box to the left side of the penalty area where Hernandez ran onto it and fired a shot inside the right post for sixth of the season.

Parkside ended the first half with an 11-5 edge in shots, 4-1 in shots on goal and had the only corner kick of the opening 45 minutes.

Leah Camery (Anchorage, Alaska/Steller Secondary School) had a shot blocked and it rebounded out to Catherine Hawn (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) on the right wing. Hawn crossed the ball to the back post where Mockenhaupt was waiting and buried it into an open net for her second of the season.

Lauren Bialas attempt though sailed just over the crossbar. UW-Parkside had another chance in the 87th minute as Chloe Couves sent one towards goal that was saved by Carrie Levy (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge ).

S&T had a chance to win the game in the first overtime period after a goal kick went right to Andrea Aller (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley ) in the 96th minute. Aller dribbled towards goal and fired a shot that was saved by Sarah Dobrowolski.

The Rangers had a chance a couple of minutes later but Carrie Levy (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge ) denied Porter's chance. Parkside had the only chance in the second overtime as Hernandez's shot went wide right in the 103rd minute.
