Box Score (Rolla, Mo.) – Morgan Henry (Camdenton, Mo./Camdenton)'s goal in the 58
th minute proved to be the difference as Missouri S&T picked up its first win of 2014 defeating Saint Joseph's
1-0 on Friday night. S&T (1-4, 1-2 GLVC) outshot the Pumas (0-4-1, 0-2-1 GLVC) 10-9.
The first half was pretty evenly matched with both teams tallying three shots but the only serious chance came by Saint Joseph's late in the first half but

S&T had some chances early in the second half and were able to break the scoreless tie 13 minutes into the frame. After a throw-in

Sarah Hostler (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) had a couple of chances late to add to the lead, but was denied on the first one on a great save by the Puma keeper to tip it over the bar. She had another chance a few minutes later but just lofted over the bar.
Saint Joseph's had a great chance late in the game to tie it but Deister was able to tip the ball over the bar for a corner kick instead of a goal.
