Box Score (Somers, Wis.) – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners allowed five first half goals in a
7-0 loss at Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday afternoon. The seven goals allowed by S&T were the most its given up in a game since an 8-2 loss at Missouri Southern on Sept. 18, 2002.
The Rangers (3-0, 1-0 GLVC) got a pair of goals in the first seven minutes to take a quick a two goal lead. They added to their lead in the 30
th minute scoring three times in a five minute span. Parkside capped the scoring with a pair of goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
Kaitlyn Deister (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) made 10 saves in goal for the Lady Miners while
Sabrina Hostler (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy),
Sarah Hostler (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) and
Rachel O'Neal (Dallas, Texas/Highland Park) each recorded a shot.
S&T concludes its road trip on Sunday when it travels to Lewis University for a match-up with the Flyers. Kick is set for 2:30 p.m.
