(Rolla, Mo.) – The Missouri S&T women's soccer team hits the road this weekend seeking its first win of the 2013 campaign traveling to Southern Indiana and Illinois Springfield.
The Lady Miners and Screaming Eagles face off on Friday at 5 p.m. in Evansville, Ind. S&T went 0-1-1 last week picking up a draw at Rockhurst last Friday and then fell to William Jewell 2-1 in the home opener on Sunday.

th minute to tie Sunday's game. WJC retook the lead 20 minutes later on a goal from Ashley Licata. The Lady Miners had a couple of chances late in the match for the equalizer but were denied by a couple of great saves by the Cardinal goalkeeper.
USI started its GLVC season with a 1-0 win over Illinois Springfield at home last Friday. Madi Velky, the team leader in scoring, scored in the 58
th minute. The Screaming Eagles played to a scoreless draw at McKendree this past Sunday.
Illinois Springfield enters play this weekend on a three-game losing streak. In addition to the loss at Southern Indiana the Prairie Stars were defeated at home last Sunday by Bellarmine 1-0. Kim Tokarski leads the team in scoring with three goals and two assists.
