Box Score (ST. LOUIS) – Sarah Hostler (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy)'s goal with 33 minutes left in regulation proved to be the difference in Missouri S&T's
2-1 win at Maryville on Friday afternoon. The Lady Miners (2-3-2 overall and GLVC) were outshot by host Saints 7-5, but S&T had the edge in shots on goal 5-4.
The two sides played to a scoreless draw in the opening 45 minutes. The first 15 minutes of the second half proved to be a different story.
Kelsey Salzman (Blue Springs, Mo./Notre Dame de Sion) broke the tie scoring her first goal of the season 4:43 into the second stanza taking a pass from
Catherine Hawn (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) then chipping it over the keeper's head from 15 yards out.

Madison Gibler (Kansas City, Mo./Staley) made three saves in goal to pick up her first win of the season.
