Box Score 2 (St. Louis, Mo.) - The Missouri S&T Lady Miners had a couple of opportunities but couldn't come through with a timely hit in a

9-2.
UMSL (18-18, 7-11 GLVC) scored first in the bottom of the first courtesy of a one out solo home run of the bat of Katie Wood. It remained 1-0 until the top of the third.

Jackie Lybarger (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley West)'s ground out to short and to third on a passed ball.

Cassie Rizzo (Webster Groves, Mo./Webster Groves) and Briggs to start the frame. Michaelis moved the runners over with a sacrifice to third.
