In the last set S&T scored the first four points in racing out to an 8-3 lead at the changeover. The two sides traded points until the Lady Miners got back-to-back kills from Hayley Wright (Omaha, Neb./Millard West) and Costello setting up match point at 14-8. The Lions cut the lead to four but Costello wouldn't allow them any closer as she put home her 10th and final kill to end the match.
