In the second set it was all Lady Miners. They raced out to an early 5-1 advantage and eventually built their lead to 18-6. The Prairie Stars got within 11 but no closer as S&T put the hammer down in winning 25-12.

The Prairie Stars refused to yield again closing within three at 18-15 and then again at 23-20. S&T was able to close it out though as Alison Mueller (Bartelso, Ill./Mater Dei ) and Bekebrede ended the match with kills.
