Regular season play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference came to an end Monday night -- meaning the Missouri S&T Lady Miners have finally learned where it is heading this weekend for the opening weekend of the conference tournament.

Southern Indiana's 82-77 overtime victory over Quincy in the women's game made the Screaming Eagles the top two seed from the GLVC's three divisions and host for the first two rounds in that portion of the bracket.

S&T (14-13, 8-10 GLVC) will head to Evansville, Ind., for the first round game Saturday against Lewis (16-11, 12-6 GLVC) that will also begin at 1 p.m.  The winner of that game will face Southern Indiana (22-7, 13-5 GLVC) Sunday at 1 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

The Lady Miners lost to Lewis 69-59 in Rolla back on January 21. S&T defeated Southern Indiana 73-51 at home on January 7.

The winners of each of the four brackets in the tournaments will head to the league's final four, which will take place in Springfield, Ill., on March 6 and 7.

General admission tickets will be available on Thursday and Friday by calling the Southern Indiana Ticket Office at 812-465-7165 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets also will be available one hour prior to each game at the ticket window in the Physical Activities Center. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 18 and under.
