Box Score The S&T Lady Miners were swept by Missouri Southern, 17-25, 17-25, 19-25 on Saturday afternoon at the Bullman Multipurpose Building in Rolla.

The Lady Miners (2-10) had 38 kills in the match compared to 34 for the Lions (4-5) but committed 20 attack errors while MSSU committed only five.

S&T was led by Samantha Klump (Ash Grove, Mo./Homeschooled) with six kills while Lauren Summerville (Fenton, Mo./Rockwood Summit ) had five kills. Leandre Pelae finished the match hitting 60 percent with three kills in five attempts and Kaci Herron (Jonesboro, Ark./Jonesboro) finished the match hitting 50 percent with four kills.

Danielle Kracl (Omaha, Neb./Burke) and Tory Smiley each recorded double figures in assists with 13 and 12 respectively while Bridget Williams (Topeka, Kan./Hayden) finished the match with nine digs.
