Box Score The S&T Lady Miners were swept by Bellarmine, 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-20) on Friday evening at the Bullman Multipurpose Building in Rolla.

The first set belonged to the Knights (4-7, 4-3 GLVC) as they raced out to an early 10 point lead and never looked back on the way to the win. BU hit .333 in the frame ledy Emily Beckman and Katie Wetterer with three kills apiece. Bellarmine had 11 kills to just four for S&T (2-14, 0-6 GLVC).

The second set didn't start out much differently than the first one with the Knights again rushing out to a big lead but this time the Lady Miners rallied to within 18-16 but could not get any closer as BU closed the set on a 7-0 run for the 2-0 lead.

S&T made a run in the third game going back and forth with the Knights before Bellarmine started to pull away grabbing a three point lead at 16-13. The Lady Miners hung tough tying the set at 17 all then again traded points over the next four serves before the Knights closed the match on a 6-1 run for the win..

Samantha Klump (Ash Grove, Mo./Homeschooled), Lauren Summerville (Fenton, Mo./Rockwood Summit ) and Julie Meyer (Marthasville, Mo./St. Francis Borgia) all had five kills for S&T while Beckman led all players with 13.
