Benjamin took the helm of the Missouri S&T Golf program in September 2025 after a two-year stint as a student-athlete with the team. As a student-athlete for S&T, he recorded four top-three finishes, including a win at the Findlay Spring Invite his senior season where he set a program record for best 54-hole total with a 198 (-18).
Prior to S&T, Benjamin competed at the University of Texas at the Permian Basin during the 2020-21 season where he shot a season-low 215 at the Mustang Invitational. He was also part of the team during the 2019-20 season at California Baptist but did not play in any tournaments.
Benjamin graduated undergrad from Missouri S&T in 2025 with a degree in nuclear engineering and has begun a masters program in the same field.
