Ashley Jurgensmeyer is in her first season with the Miner volleyball program after spending the last two seasons as an assistant at Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Okla. Prior to her time at Broken Arrow she spent three seasons as a head coach at Thomas Edison Prep in Tulsa, Okla.

Jurgensmeyer played collegiately at Southwest Baptist from 2008-10. She holds the SBU career records for kills (1,156) and attack percentage (.303) and is sixth all-time in assisted blocks with 328 and is seventh in total blocks with 387.
