Biography
2009: Won All-America honors in the high jump after placing third in the high jump at the NCAA Division II Championships in San Angelo, Texas...cleared a school record 5-8 1/2 to earn the third place award...was third at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the event with a mark of 5-5 1/4 in the finals...landed All-GLVC honors as part of the Lady Miners' 4x100-meter relay team that won the league title in a school record time of 47.48 seconds...did not compete during the indoor season as she was playing with Missouri S&T's women's basketball team.
2008: Earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the high jump, where she posted a mark of 5-5 to finish in a tie for 11th place…earned All-GLVC honors in the high jump with a third place finish at the conference’s outdoor meet…set the school record in the event with a jump of 5-7 at Alabama, which also earned her the GLVC’s “Athlete of the Week” award.
2007: Earned All-GLVC honors in the outdoor high jump with a second place finish at the conference meet…cleared 5-5 1/4 at that meet, just shy of her seasonal-best mark of 5-5 3/4.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was one of the top high jumpers in the state meet in Illinois over her last two seasons at that level, finishing fifth in 2005 and 11th in 2004 in that event...had a top clearance of 5-5 in her senior year.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Wilson and Veronica McCaskill...attended Edwardsville High School...majoring in chemical engineering…played basketball at Missouri S&T – where she was a first-team All-GLVC selection as a junior and finished her career as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,525 points.
