Biography
2012: Had top times of 18:58.60 in the 5,000-meters and 39.56.11 in the 10,000-meters in the outdoor season...best indoor marks were 10:56.96 in the 3,000-meters and 18:48.42 in the 5,000-meters.
2011: Posted an eighth-place finish in the 10,000-meters at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...had a top mark in the event of 39:59.48 during the season...also ran in the 5,000 and had a top mark of 19:09.96...had top indoor times of 11:03.11 in the indoor 3,000 and 19:11.02 in the 5,000 which earned her a 12th place finish at the conference meet.
2010: Had the Lady Miners' top time of the outdoor season in the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs in her freshman season...posted marks of 19:08.96 in the 5,000 and 42:12.08 in the 10,000 at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...also had a mark of 11:22.18 in the 3,000-meters...in the indoor season, had seasonal-best times of 5:47.63 in the mile, 11:22.78 in the 3,000 and 19:32.85 in the 5,000-meter events.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in both track and cross country in high school…qualified three times for the state meet in cross country and also made the state track meet twice in the 3,200-meters…was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and a two-time letterwinner in track in the distance events.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Gary and Jennifer Lake…is the twin sister of S&T teammate Lisa Lake…attended Sapulpa High School…majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
