Biography
2008: Set two school records during the course of the season…established the mark in the indoor weight throw with a toss of 49-9 at the GLVC Championships which landed her a third place finish and All-GLVC honors…broke the other mark in the hammer throw with a performance of 129-7 at Missouri Southern…was also seventh at the league’s indoor meet in the shot put at 36-7 3/4 and placed seventh as well outdoors at 38-2 1/4.
2007: Finished sixth in the indoor shot put at the GLVC Championships with a mark of 39-6 1/2, her best throw of the season…placed ninth at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the shot with a mark of 37-5 at the meet…best mark of the year in the shot came at the Dewey Allgood Invitational of 40-1 1/2…recorded a seasonal-best mark of 127-5 in the hammer throw to set a new Missouri S&T school record…also set a mark in the indoor weight throw with her mark of 45-1 at the conference meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: Placed fourth in the state in the shot put during her junior year at Rock Bridge High School, posting a mark of 38-3 1/2...has a personal best mark of 39-8 in the event.
PERSONAL: Born July 27, 1987 in Columbia, Mo....daughter of Ralph and Betty Terwelp...attended Rock Bridge High School…majoring in metallurgical engineering.
