Biography
2012: Scored at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw with a school record mark of 142-8…recorded her best throw in the shot put of 28-feet during the Dewey Allgood Invitational…best indoor marks were 44-6¾ in the weight throw and 28-11¾ in the shot put.
2011: Competed in the throwing events during her freshman season...had top marks of 129-feet in the hammer throw during the outdoor season and 41-2 1/4 in the weight throw indoors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in a variety of events at South Callaway High School...posted a season-best mark of 66-11 in the discus, 24-4 1/2 in the shot put, and also ran in events ranging from the 200-meters to the 5,000-meters.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Charles and Amy Schmid...attended South Callaway High School...majoring in aerospace engineering.
