Biography
2014: Appeared in eight games as a junior recording a shot on goal against Illinois Springfield on Oct. 17.
2013: DeWael missed the 2013 season due to injury.
2012: DeWael played in 17 games with two starts as a freshman...she scored two goals and registerd four points on the season...her first goal of the season tied the game against Washburn on Sept. 2, a game which S&T would win in double overtime...scored the game winning goal against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 12...she took 10 shots, half of which were on goal...averaged 38 minutes of playing time per contest.
High School: DeWael played for four years at Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Ind., for head coach Casey Dodd...she scored 11 goals her senior year and finished her high school career with 32 goals...was a four time all-conference and all-county selection.
Peronal: Daughter of Joan DeWael...majoring in aerospace and mechanical engineering.
