Biography
Returner who will battle for time in the midfield...she played in the first 11 games, starting 10 of those before suffering a season-ending injury at Northern Kentucky on Oct. 15...recorded six shots on the seaosn, three on goal... she started all 15 games as a sophomore...she finished with an assist in a 3-1 win over Lewis on Sept. 11...recorded eight shots, three of which were on goal...appeared in all 17 games as a freshman, starting seven of those games…she recorded 16 shots on the season, two of which were on goal…was a four-year letterwinner who earned first-team all-district honors in each of the last three seasons…was selected as her team's offensive most valuable player in 2006 and as her team's "Rookie of the Year" following her freshman year…led her club team, the Westside Quest Stars in assists and finished as the team's second-leading scorer…was involved in numerous groups at her school, including the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
PERSONAL: Daughter of David and Rhonda Ekholm…attended Cy-Springs High School…majoring in mechanical engineering.
