2012: Started every game last season...led the team in goals (3), assists (6), points (12), shots on goal (19) and shots (37)...scored the game winning goal at Lewis heading in a corner kick in the 53rd minute from Kendra Wood...assisted on both goals in the win against Saint Joseph's on Sept. 14...scored a goal at #10 Quincy on Sept. 21...had a season best four points (1g, 2a) in the win against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 12.

2011: Started all 16 games last season scoring a goal and had two assists...scored the game winning goal in the 5-4 overtime win at Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 18...she assisted on Leah Williams game winning goal at Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 2 and also had an assist in the season finale against Drury.

2010: Played in all 15 games with 12 starts. She scored her first college goal in a 3-0 win over Saint Joseph's on Oct. 22. She assisted on two game winning goals last season at Lewis and against Indianapolis. Ekholm finished the season with four points.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ekholm, a center midfielder, was an all-district selection each of the last two seasons and served as one of the team captains. She was a member of the club soccer team Albion Hurricanes FC. Her sister Shelly is also a member of the women’s soccer team at Missouri S&T.

PERSONAL: Daughter of David and Rhonda Ekholm…majoring in mechanical engineering.
