Biography

2010: Drage appeared in 48 games with 46 starts...led the team in hitting with a .427 batting average, home runs with 10, doubles with 16 and RBIs 45...had 64 hits on the season including 18 multi-hit games...had six games with three hits...had 11 multi-RBI games including a season-high five in the first game of a double-header against Rockhurst on April 17th...finished that doubleheader going 4-for-7 with four runs scored, eight RBIs, a double and a HR...hit a pair of game winning HRs against Maryville on April 28th...hit a walk-off grand slam in the first game, then a solo shot in the fourth inning of game 2...was amongst the league leaders in almost every offensive category in the GLVC...she hit .438 with runners on base, .420 with runners in scoring position and had seven two-out RBI...hit nearly .700 with a runner on third and less than two out and .345 with two outs...was a first team All-GLVC selection at first base...earned first team All-Midwest Region honors on the Daktronics and Louisville Slugger/NFCA teams...was a second team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American selection and a third team selection to the Daktronics All-American squad.

2009:
Started 48 times last season and was the team's leading run producer driving in 29 runs...she hit .306 and had 10 doubles, a triple and three home runs...her slugging percentage of .451 was third on the team while her on-base percentage was fourth on the squad...Drage had 12 multi-hit games including a 4-for-4 performance in the second game of a doubleheader against Missouri Southern. She finished that doubleheader with five hits and five RBIs...she also had eight games with at least two RBIs and a pair of three RBI games both against Missouri Southern...Drage hit .336 against right-handed pitching and was .377 with runners in scoring position and .342 with runners on base...she was 3-for-5 with the bases loaded and hit nearly .900 with a runner on third and less than two outs...she also had success advancing runners by hitting .577 in those situations...she appeared in three games in the circle tossing three innings allowing six earned runs.

2008:
Batted .261 in her first season as a Lady Miner with a home run and 18 runs batted in…drove in six runs in S&T’s doubleheader sweep over Northern Kentucky, including a go-ahead three-run homer in the second game of the twinbill…had seven multiple-hit games during the year…had four hits in six at-bats with the bases loaded, including a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh in a win over Saint Joseph’s to conclude a 15-pitch at-bat…also pitched in 12 games, recording a 2-4 record and 4.76 earned run average…earned her wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Washburn…struck out 16 in 32 1/3 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a three-time selection to the all-state first team while playing at Union County High School…earned five all-region awards and was her team’s most valuable player in all five seasons where she holds every pitching record at her school…finished her prep career with 87 wins, a 0.67 earned run average, 40 shutouts and 1,271 strikeouts…threw 15 no-hitters at the high school level which ranks fourth all-time in Kentucky prep history as does her career strikeout total…in the 2006 season, she was 20-12 with a 0.52 earned run average and 306 strikeouts…batted .479 with four home runs and 33 runs batted in…was named as her team's top hitter and pitcher in each of her five seasons at the school and finished among the top 10 on several career lists in the state of Kentucky…had 23 strikeouts in a district championship game against Henderson County that her team won 1-0 in 18 innings…was named to five academic all-state teams and to the KSCA Academic all-state first team following her junior year.
