Biography

2008: Named to the All-GLVC first team…also selected to the NFCA all-region first team and Daktronics all-region second team for the second season in a row…earned GLVC “Player of the Week” honors during the season…finished as the team’s second-leading hitter (behind GLVC most valuable player Kelsey Musselman) with a .409 average…also finished the year with six home runs, 33 runs batted in and 14 stolen bases in 15 attempts…20 of her 56 hits were for extra bases…had 15 games with at least two hits, topped by a four-hit outing against Arkansas-Monticello…had three hits on six other occasions…drove in two or more runs 10 times, with three RBI in wins over Delta State, Quincy and Northern Kentucky…hit two of her six home runs against Indianapolis…also homered against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Pittsburg State, NKU and Missouri-St. Louis…had a season-best eight-game hitting streak…batted .450 with runners on base and .574 with runners in scoring position… NFCA scholar-athlete.

2007: Earned first-team All-GLVC and second-team all-region honors...finished the season with a .370 average, five home runs and 33 runs batted in...was third in the GLVC in doubles with 15...earned GLVC “Player of the Week” honors on April 16 after going 5-8 with a homer and six RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Bellarmine...had a 12-game hitting streak that was the team’s third-longest on the year...has 17 multiple-hit games including three-hit outings against Lewis, Lincoln and Bellarmine...drove in four runs in the first game win at BU...hit a game-tying two-run homer in the sixth inning of the Lady Miners’ NCAA regional game against Grand Valley State…had a stretch of 12 games where she drove in at least one run in 10 of them.

2006: Hit .286 with five home runs and 23 runs batted in...started in 41 of the 42 games she played in...drove in four runs in a win over Minnesota-Crookston...homered in three straight games late in the season, including two of the Lady Miners' three games in the GLVC Tournament...led off the top of the eighth with a home run in a victory over Indianapolis in the conference tournament opener...had a .504 slugging percentage and .361 on-base percentage...struck out only 15 times in 119 at-bats.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team all-conference selection as an outfielder at the high school level after hitting .407 in her senior year with a home run and 11 runs batted in...struck out only six times in 81 at-bats in the 2004 fall season...hit .355 during her junior year...earned the team's 110 percent award...was an honor roll student in all eight semesters of high school.

PERSONAL: Born April 23, 1987 in St. Louis, Mo....daughter of Robert and Donna Tucker...attended Cor Jesu Academy...majoring in engineering management.
