Biography

2009: Started in all 49 games as the Lady Miners' catcher...batted .263 with seven doubles, a triple, a home run and 18 RBIs while scoring 11 runs...she recorded 10 multi-hit games...her home run against Bellarmine began a three run rally with two outs in the bottom of the seventh allowing S&T to rally for an 8-7 win and get a sweep over the Knights...she hit .282 with runners on base, was 3-for-10 with the bases loaded, hit .291 with runners in scoring position and was 11-for-20 with a runner at third and less than two down...she committed only two errors in 286 chances while throwing out 10 base runners she also picked three runners off base.

2008:
Started in all 47 games as the Lady Miners’ catcher…batted .234 with three home runs and 19 runs batted in…had five multiple-hit games, including a three-hit outing against Valdosta State in the season opener…drove in three runs in the game one victory over Drury…hit home runs against Valdosta State, Georgia College & State and Kentucky Wesleyan…hit .387 when leading off innings…threw out nine runners trying to steal.
 
2007: Caught all but one game for the Lady Miners in her freshman year...made just two errors in 253 chances and  threw out 12 runners trying to steal...had a .248 average with three home runs and 23 runs batted in...had a season-high three hits in a win over Missouri-St. Louis which included one of her three homers...also drove in a season-high three runs in that game…had nine multiple-hit games during the year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors while playing at Alton High School...also named honorable mention All-Metro St. Louis...hit .359 with a home run and 35 runs batted in during her senior year...had 14 extra base hits among her 42 hits on the year...batted .351 with 23 runs batted in for a team that went 29-8 in 2005...did not commit an error in 219 chances during her sophomore year…played on a national championship NSA team (18 and under) in 2006.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Greg and Judy Naughton...majoring in civil and architectural engineering.
