High School: Earned all-state and academic all-state honors in both basketball and volleyball...recorded a team-high 232 kills and 95 blocks, while posting a .410 attack percentage during the 2022 season...had 17 service aces during the season...had 124 kills and 38 blocks during the 2021 campaign...was named as the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar-Athlete of the Year from Marquette High School.
Personal: Attended Marquette High School...son of Stephen and Colleen Young...majoring in engineering management at Missouri S&T.
