HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the middle distance and distance events during his prep career, which saw his teams win two conference and district championships in cross country...had top track times of 1:58 in the 800-meters and 16:43 in the 5,000-meter run.

PERSONAL:  Son of Rodney and Laura Pixler...attended Liberty High School...majoring in engineering.
