CAREER BESTS & RESULTS
2022: Took third place in the 200-meters at the GLVC Outdoor Championships with his top time of the season of 10.78 seconds...landed a seventh place finish in the 60-meters at the GLVC Indoor Championships and then finished seventh in that event at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...was part of the 4x100-meter relay team that took fourth at the latter meet....had top times indoors of 7.01 in the 60-meters and 22.74 in the 200-meters, while recording a time of 21.92 in the 200-meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: Won state championships in the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Missouri Class 3 State Championships...had his seasonal-best time of 10.79 seconds in the 100 in winning the state title...also had a time of 21.68 in his winning performance in the 200, just off his best mark of the year of 21.66 at the sectional meet...finished first in every 100- and 200-meter race he competed in during the 2021 season.
PERSONAL: Son of Jody and Laura Schmidt...attended St. Francis Borgia Regional High School...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
