Biography
2012: Named to the All-GLVC second team for the indoor season in 2012…had a third place showing in the indoor heptathlon at the GLVC Championships, scoring 4,441 points…placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 22-1¾ as well as in the triple jump with a leap of 44-10¼… had seasonal-best marks during the outdoor season of 52.68 seconds in the 400-meters and of 54.83 in the 400-meters and 5-10 in the high jump, 22-1 ¾ in the long jump, 44-10¼ in the triple jump and 8.87 in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor campaign.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the jumps and hurdles...posted a top 300-meter hurdles mark of 40.32 seconds, while recording high marks of 22-10 in the long jump and 44-0 1/2 in the triple jump...earned all-conference honors and finished his career as a school record holder.
PERSONAL: Son of Stanislaw and Maria Gal...attended Plainfield South High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
