CAREER BESTS & RESULTS

2024: Competed in the throwing events during his first season as a Miner…best indoor marks were of 41-5 in the weight throw at Central Missouri and 40-10½ in the shot put at Pittsburg State…outdoor bests were 42-10 ¾ in the shot put at the Miner Invitational, while the other two came at the Dewey Allgood Invitational of 128-1 in the discus and 133-0 in the hammer throw.

2025: Competed in just one meet in the indoor and outdoor seasons…posted indoor marks of 39-7 in the shot put and 37-7¾ in the weight throw at Central Missouri and outdoor performances of 42-2 in the shot and 111-11 in the discus at the Miner Invitational.

High School: Earned all-state honors with a pair of sixth place finishes in throwing events at the Missouri Class 5 state meet in 2022…had marks of 53-1¾ in the shot put and 162-11 in the discus…finished ninth in the shot put and 12^th in the discus at the Missouri Class 5 state meet in 2023…had marks of 50-9¼ in the shot and 143-0 in the discus at that meet.
 
Personal: Attended Blue Springs South High School…son of Albert and Nicole Macias…majoring in mining engineering at Missouri S&T.
