Biography
2015-16: Finished third in the hammer throw at the GLVC Outdoor Championships…mark of 167-4 in the event at that meet was his best of the season…also finished sixth in the indoor weight throw at the conference meet with a season-best mark of 54-3¾…recorded a top performance of 145-8 in the outdoor shot put and 35-8 in the event indoors.
2014-15: Placed eighth in the hammer throw at the GLVC Outdoor Championships with a season-best mark of 165-9…also had a top mark of 146-1 in the discus throw during the outdoor season….top indoor performances were 37-1¼ in the shot put and 50-8 in the weight throw.
2013-14: Took second place in the discus at the GLVC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 147-6…best mark of the season was 160-9 at Missouri Southern…also had top throws of 36-1¼ in the shot put and 141-9 in the hammer throw….top indoor performances were 37-5 in the shot put and 46-5½ in the weight throw.
PERSONAL: Son of Jack and Jeanne Barrett…attended O’Fallon Township High School….majoring in computer science at Missouri S&T.
