Biography
2010: Made the All-GLVC squad in both the indoor and outdoor season...led off the Miners' 4x100-meter relay team that won the conference title at the league's outdoor meet...also finished third in the 100-meters and fifth in the 200-meters at the GLVC's outdoor meet...had top times of 10.78 seconds in the 100-meters and 21.76 seconds in the 200...was the GLVC runner-up in the 55-meter dash at the GLVC Indoor Championship with his best time of the season of 6.52 seconds...also took eighth in the 200-meters; best time in the event was 6.95 seconds at Central Missouri...was part of the 4x200-meter relay team that took third at the indoor meet.
2009: Was an All-GLVC selection for the second straight season...earned the honors on the strength of third place finishes in the indoor 55-meters in 6.53 seconds and the 200-meters in 22.70 seconds, both seasonal bests...had top outdoor times of 10.81 seconds in the 100-meters and 22.07 seconds in the 200-meters.
2008: Earned All-GLVC honors in his freshman year…took third in the finals of the 55-meter dash during the GLVC Indoor Championships with a seasonal-best time of 6.60 seconds…also took sixth in the 100-meters and eighth in the outdoor 200-meters with a time of 21.94 seconds, which was his best time of the outdoor season in the 200…posted a 10.95 in the preliminaries of the 100 at the outdoor championships…also recorded the Miners’ best time in the indoor 200-meters of 7.14 seconds.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the sprints and relays at the high school level in Florida…finished third in the district meet and 12th at the regional in the 100-meters, where he had a time of 11.21 seconds…also finished fifth in the 200-meters in 23.26 at the district meet…ran the anchor leg for his school’s 4x100-meter relay team.
PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Baretta Wilson…attended C. Leon King High School, where he also played football…majoring in computer engineering.
