HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year member of the squad at Jackson High School where he was a pole vaulter…had a top mark of 12-6 during his senior year…also competed in the hurdles.

PERSONAL: Born March 1, 1990 in Cape Girardeau, Mo….son of Barry and Janet Nickelson…attended Jackson High School…majoring in mechanical engineering.
