2011: Competed in the throwing events as a freshman…had top performances of 130-2 in the discus and 135-5 in the hammer throw during the outdoor campaign…best indoor mark in the weight throw was 43-4 at Central Missouri.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the throwing events, where he had a personal best mark of 145-1 in the discus to take second at the district meet...also finished eighth in the sectional in the discus...posted a top mark of 42-9 in the shot put.

PERSONAL: Son of Steve Ferguson and Rick and Patricia Paris...attended Chillicothe High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
