Biography
2021: Finished second at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the pole vault...cleared 15-10 1/2 in his second place showing...had a season-best clearance of 16-4 3/4 at Lindenwood, which also made an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark.
2020: Placed sixth in the pole vault at the GLVC Indoor Championships with a mark of 14-11...cleared 15-1 at two different meets hosted by the University of Missouri during the season that ranked as his best of the campaign.
2019: Finished fourth in both pole vault events at the GLVC Championships…had a top outdoor mark of 4.67 meters that he reached at the Dewey Allgood Invitational…best indoor showing was 4.60 meters.
2018: Placed second in the outdoor pole vault at the GLVC Championships after finishing eighth in the indoor season…cleared 4.65 meters in the outdoor season and 4.50 meters indoors.
PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Joann Nickell…attended Nixa High School…majoring in civil engineering at Missouri S&T.
