Biography
2011: Had his best indoor mark in the 800-meters of 2:03.77 at Central Missouri…in the outdoor season, had a time of 2:01.06 in the 800-meters at the season opener at Central Methodist.
2010: Competed during the indoor season in the middle distance events, posting the team's top time in the 600-yard run of 1:16.57...also ran in the 800-meters and recorded a top mark of 2:02.80.
2009: Won the GLVC outdoor championship in the 800-meters, marking the second straight year a Miner has captured that title...posted his best time of the season in the finals of 1:56.88 to earn All-GLVC first-team honors...also had a mark of 4:16.46 in the 1,500-meters...during the indoor season, he had a mark of 1:59.44 in the 800-meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished fifth at the Missouri Class 3 cross country championships in the 5,000-meters, posting a time of 16:25 in the race held last November to help his team win the state championship...also took third in the cross country district race, ran on Potosi's state championship 4x800-meter relay last season...all-state performer in cross country.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Michelle Skelton...attended Potosi High School...majoring in engineering management.
