Biography
2010: Competed in the high jump as a freshman and made an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the indoor season...earned a spot on the All-GLVC by finishing second at the league's indoor meet, going over the bar at 6-8 1/4...cleared 6-2 3/4 to finish fourth at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...cleared a seasonal-best 6-6 in two meets during the outdoor season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was the Missouri Class 3 state runner-up in the high jump as a senior, clearing 6-8 at the meet...mark was the top mark of any high jumper in the St. Louis area during the 2009 season...placed seventh in the state meet as a junior with a clearance of 6-2, while clearing 5-10 to finish in a tie for seventh in his sophomore year.
PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Jeannie Vehige...attended Duchesne High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
