2012: Posted seasonal-best marks during the outdoor season of 4:07.36 in the 1,500-meters at the Dewey Allgood Invitational and 15:26.79 in the 5,000-meters; top indoor marks were 4:31.09 in the mile and 8:57.94 in the 3,000-meters.

2011: Had the Miners’ best time during the indoor season in the 3,000-meters of 8:49.85 at Southern Illinois…also posted a mark of 4:31.36 in the indoor mile…had top outdoor times of 4:08.58 in the 1,500-meters and 15:27.52 in the 5,000, which was also the best time of the year by a Miner in that event.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the distance events at the high school level...placed fifth at the Iowa State Championships in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:17, earning second-team all-state honors in the process...took sixth as part of the 4x800-meter relay...also had top-10 finishes in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.

PERSONAL: Son of Dale and Sharon Tayloe...attended Cedar Falls High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
