2010: Posted top times of 15:38.44 in the 5,000-meters and 33:17.28 in the 10,000-meters during the outdoor season...had a mark of 15:47.74 in the 5,000-meters indoors...finished 10th at the GLVC Indoor Championships in the 5,000.

2009: Competed in the distance events for the Miners...had three top-eight finishes during the season at the conference level in those events, headed by a sixth place effort in the indoor 3,000-meters with a mark of 9:03.05...finished seventh at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 meters and also in the indoor 5,000-meters...had the team's top 5,000-meter times of the season of 15:21.16 indoors and 15:29.57 outdoors...top indoor 3,000 time of 8:58.72 came at Missouri Southern...also posted a mark of 32:19.52 in the 10,000-meters at the Kansas Relays.

2008: Was one of the team's top distance runners as a freshman...finished sixth in the 10,000-meters at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...recorded a time of 27:58 last season at the GLVC Cross Country Championships...placed 18th at the Miner Invitational...top times in track were 4:17.54 in the 1,500-meters, 15:52.94 in the 5,000 and 32;37.70 in the 10,000...had times of 4:40.86 in the indoor mile, 9:17.45 in the 3,000 and 15:46.30 in the indoor 5,000.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the Missouri Class 1 state champion in cross country, posting a time of 16:54.08 to win the title by more than 10 seconds at the state meet which his team won...took 12th at the 2005 state cross country meet...also finished second in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs at the sectional meets.

PERSONAL:Son of Charlie and Sheila Brown...attended Lone Jack High School, where he was the school’s valedictorian and a Kansas City Star scholar-athlete...also earned the Sam Walton Community Award and Discover Card Tribute academic award...majoring in environmental engineering.
