2009: Ran in the middle distance events, with top indoor times of 1:19.36 in the 600-yard run and 2:04.39 in the 800-meters...during the outdoor season, he posted marks of 54.26 seconds in the 400-meters, 2:03.02 in the 800-meter run and 4:28.06 in the 1,500-meters.

2008: Competed in the middle distance events…was part of the Miners’ distance medley team that finished fourth at the GLVC Indoor Championships…posted top times of 1:28.22 in the 600-yard run and 2:01.53 in the 800-meters indoors; had outdoor marks of 1:59.68 in the 800 and 4:17.59 in the 1,500-meters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was part of a state championship team in the 4x800-meter relay at Oak Park High School...recorded personal best times of 2:01 in the 800-meters and 4:41 in the mile while in high school.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 13, 1987 in Kansas City, Mo....son of Chris and Linda Teel...attended Oak Park High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
