First season in the Miner program.

High School: Was a two-time Kansas Class 1A state champion in cross country…won the 2024 state title with a time of 16:53 and won the race by 15 seconds, after recording a three-second win in 2023 in 16:29…also captured the state title in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs in Kansas Class 1A, posting winning times of 1:57.84 in 2024 in the 800 and 4:27:34 in the 1,600 as a junior.
 
Personal: Attended Lebo High School…son of Ryan and Amanda Durst…majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
