Biography
2012: Earned a sixth place finish in the discus throw at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in 2012, recording a mark of 138-3 at the meet… had seasonal-best marks during the outdoor season of 149-9 in the discus and 118-1 in the hammer…had a top throw of 40 feet even in the indoor weight throw.
2011: Competed in the discus throw during his freshman season, where he earned a sixth place finish at the GLVC Championships…posted a seasonal-best mark of 138-6 to earn that distinction.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the throwing events, with a top mark in the discus of 140-9 at the sectional meet...was the Gateway Athletic Conference North runner-up in the discus as a senior with a throw of 138-5.
PERSONAL: Son of Godson Onwubiko, Sr., and Nsamba Kaysmbe...attended Timberland High School...majoring in chemical engineering.
