Biography
2022: Recorded a fourth place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...posted a season-best time of 9:16.75 in that race...was part of the Miners' distance medley relay team that took fourth at the GLVC Indoor Championships...had top outdoor times of 2:00.08 in the 800-meters and 4:03.67 in the 1,500-meters...indoor bests included marks of 1:59.89 in the 800-meters and 8:37.78 in the 3,000-meters.
2021: Recorded a seventh place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...had his best time of the season in that race of 9:33.73...also had times of 1:59.55 in the 800-meters, 4:03.61 in the 1,500-meters and 15:24.11 in the 5,000.
2020: Had a ninth place showing in the mile at the GLVC Indoor Championships...best time in the event during the season was 4:24.45...also had a time of 8:52.96 in the 3,000-meters.
2019: Posted seasonal best times of 2:05.35 in the 800-meters, 4;14.25 in the 1,500-meters and 15:34.68 in the 5,000 during the outdoor season…had a top indoor time of 9:07.67 in the 3,000-meters.
PERSONAL: Son of Chris and Mary Kay Lofgren…attended Parkway West High School…majoring in geological engineering at Missouri S&T....was the 2021 GLVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in men's cross country.
