Biography
2011: Placed sixth in the 800-meters at the GLVC Outdoor Championships after taking seventh at the league’s indoor meet…had his best times during the outdoor season in meets held at Missouri S&T, recording a 51.67 in the 400-meters during the regular season meet and a 1:56.21 in the 800-meters during the GLVC Championships…best indoor marks were 53.28 in the 400 and 1:57.35 in the 800, which also came at the conference meet.
2010: Had top marks of 1:59.31 in the 800-meters during the outdoor season after posting a time of 2:05.09 indoors...also ran in the 400 indoors and had a top mark of 53.14 at Iowa State, and in the 600-meters where his best time was 1:25.83.
2009: Competed in the sprint and middle distance events during his first season with the Miners...had top times of 52.79 in the outdoor 400-meters and 2:01.03 in the outdoor 800, while posting a mark of 1:59.12 indoors in the 800-meters at Indiana.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the 400- and 800-meter events while at Oak Park High School in Kansas City.
PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Janice Chambers...attended Oak Park High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
