Biography
2012: Posted his top mark of the indoor season in the pole vault of 13-1½ at the season-opening meet at Missouri Southern.
2011: Competitor in the multi-events for the Miners…recorded a total of 4,017 points in the heptathlon at the GLVC Indoor Championships, with a top finish of third in the pole vault with a clearance of 13-5 ¼.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in several events at the high school level and won a sectional title in the pole vault...had a top mark of 12-6 in that event...also had field event marks of 114-9 in the discus, 17-11 1/2 in the long jump and 37-11 3/4 in the shot put...posted marks of 18.04 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and 46.04 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles.
PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Jane Hackett...attended Fair Grove High School...majoring in mechanical engineering.
