2012: Named as the GLVC’s “Track Athlete of the Year” for the 2012 outdoor season…won the 200-meter dash and triple jump titles and also anchored S&T’s 4x100-meter relay that placed second…posted winning marks of 22.03 seconds in the 200-meters and 46-8¼ in the triple jump…also placed third in the 100-meters with a time of 10.92 seconds….earned All-GLVC second-team honors in 2012 during the indoor season to go along with the first-team honor for the outdoor campaign…placed fifth in the indoor 55-meters with a time of 6.61 seconds…had seasonal-best marks during the outdoor season of 10.68 in the 100-meters and 21.25 in the 200-meters; top indoor marks were 7.03 in the 60-meters, 22.12 in the 200-meters and 45-7¼ in the triple jump.

2011: Earned All-America honors as part of the Miners’ 4x100-meter relay team that finished eighth at the NCAA Division II Championships…team recorded a school record mark of 40.63 during the season…landed first-team All-GLVC honors during both the indoor and outdoor season…won the GLVC championship in the indoor triple jump and outdoor 100-meters as a freshman…had a fourth place finish in the outdoor 200-meters after finishing eighth indoors…top outdoor times were 10.65 in the 100-meters (his winning time in the conference finals), team-best 21.73 in the 200-meters and 41-3 ¼ in the triple jump during that season…best indoor marks were 7.04 seconds in the 60-meter dash, 22.39 in the 200-meters, 21-9 in the long jump and 46-6 in the triple jump, which was his winning mark at the conference meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had personal best times of 11.01 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 22.44 in the 200-meters and 45-4 1/2 in the triple jump at the high school level...finished 12th in the long jump at the Missouri Class 3-4 State Championships.

PERSONAL: Son of Urial Hawkins and Cynthia Kendrick...attended Jefferson City High School...majoring in engineering management.
