Biography
2024-25: Named the PNC GLVC Player of the Week on Jan. 29 after his three total wins in the 100-yard backstroke, the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay…set four season bests at the GLVC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly…part of the 400-yard medley relay that placed fourth at the GLVC Championships…placed fifth in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay…named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
2023-24: Swam a career-best 23.46 in the 50-yard butterfly at the GLVC Championships…part of the 200-yard medley relay that recorded fifth place at the GLVC Championships…named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
PERSONAL: Son of Mattias and Eva-Karin Fridsell...swam primarily in the freestyle and backstroke events at the prep level...majoring in engineering management at Missouri S&T.
