2021-22: Was a part of the 200-yard medley relay that broke the school record and earned 7th place in the NCAA Division 2 Championship tournament… Has the fastest time in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 54.31… Also participated in the 200-yard breaststroke, posting a time of 2:02.09…Was a part of the 400-medley relay the placed 14th at the NCAA tournament…Named to GLVC Academic All- Conference.

2020-21: GLVC champion in the 100-yard breaststroke, winning the event in a school record time of 53.54 seconds...added a third place finish as part of the Miners' 200-yard medley relay team that posted the best time of the season of 1:27.52...qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships and finished 14th in the 100-breaststroke...also earned scoring marks as part of four relay teams, headed by ninth place finishes by the 200- and 400-yard medley relay groups...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2019-20: Was part of the Miners' 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished fourth at the GLVC Championships...also finished 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke...posted top times of 21.15 in the 50-yard freestyle, 46.15 in the 100-freestyle, 54.73 in the 100-breaststroke and 2:06.57 in the 200-breaststroke during the season.

2018-19: Earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division II Championships in two events, finishing seventh as part of the 200-yard medley realy team and 11th in the 100-yard breaststroke...was part of the GLVC championship team in the 400-yard medley relay, while adding a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-medley relay...top times of the season were 21.21 in the 50-freestyle, 47.02 in the 100-freestyle, 54.26 in the 100-breaststroke, 2:03.44 in the 200-breaststroke and 1:57.23 in the 200-IM.

2017-18: Earned All-America honors as part of the Miners' 400-yard medley relay team...recorded an eighth place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at the GLVC Championships with a season-best time of 55.88 seconds...also had time of 2:05.71 in the 200-breaststroke, 51.01 in the 100-butterfly, 1:54.11 in the 200-individual medley and 4:19.70 in the 400-IM...competed in the freestyle events and has top marks of 22.19 in the 50, 48.98 in the 100, 

PERSONAL: Son of Cary and Soccoro Umrysh…competed at Kingwood High School, where he was a first-team all-region selection…also competed for The Woodlands Swim club team…competed in the backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events…majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
