2025-26: Won the 200-yard butterfly against Truman State with a time of 1:56.62...recorded a personal best time of 49.79 in the 100-yard butterfly at the Jan. 23 meet against Rockhurst and Southwest Baptist, finishing third...also placed third in the 100-yard butterfly against Missouri St. Louis and Southwest Baptist with a time of 49.84 on Dec. 19.
2024-25: Set season bests at the GLVC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly…swam a season-best 49.96 in the 100-yard butterfly at the House of Champions Invite…named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
PERSONAL: Attended Fort Madison High School in Fort Madison, Iowa...Son of David and Cathy Cottrell...Majoring in Metallurgical Engineering at Missouri S&T.
