2017-18: Earned a pair of All-America awards at the NCAA Division II Championships, doing so as part the 400-yard medley relay team and 800-freestyle relay quartet that finished seventh...placed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley, sixth in the 200-yard butterfly and eighth in the 100-butterfly at the GLVC Championships, while also scoring in the 200-yard backstroke...had the Miners' best time in the 100-backstroke of 49.32 seconds...also had top times on the season of 1:51.18 in the 200-backstroke, 49.30 in the 100-butterfly, 1:50.78 in the 200-fly and 1:49.75 in the 200-individual medley.

2016-17: Was part of the Miners’ third place team in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays at the conference meet…won the consolation final in the 100-backstroke and was part of the winning consolation final team in the 800-freestyle relay…scored in the 100-butterfly and 200-backstroke at the GLVC Championships…had top times of 49.99 in the 100-backstroke, 1:52.01 in the 200-backstroke, 49.50 in the 100-butterfly, 1:49.21 in the 200-butterfly as well as being part of both medley relay teams that posted the team’s top times during the season.

2015-16: Earned All-America status as part of the 200-yard medley relay team at the 2016 NCAA-II Championships…competed in the 100-butterfly, 100-backstroke and 400-medley relay at the national meet…was part of S&T’s second place finisher in the 400-medley relay and third place team in the 200-medley relay at the GLVC Championships…finished in a tie for third in the 100-backstroke and fifth in the 100-butterfly…placed in the consolation final of the 200-yard individual medley and 200-backstroke as well as part of the 800-freestyle relay at the GLVC Championships…finished with the team’s best times in both backstroke events, with a time of 49.90 seconds in the 100-back and 1:50.71 in the 200-back.

PERSONAL:  Son of Nengwei and Beth Shih…competed in the backstroke, butterfly and individual medley at Papillion-LaVista High School and the Sarpy County Swim Club…had a top time of 50.27 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke at the Speedo Champions Series in March 2015, while also posting a mark of 1:53.26 in the 200-back to finish second at the Nebraska State Championships…in the 100-butterfly, he recorded a 49.55 mark at the Speedo meet just a week after placing second at the state meet with a time of 49.89…placed fourth at the meet and finished second in the 200-IM with a 1:53.26 after taking seventh a year earlier…majoring in mechanical engineering.
